Shields can be enhanced using Sparks, which improve their defensive capabilities. Applicable to shields of Tier 3 and Tier 4, each tier can be upgraded to a specific maximum level:

• Tier 3: Levels 0 to 50

• Tier 4: Levels 0 to 200

For crafting Sparks, seek out artisans like Edinho at Karmia Depot, who specializes in creating the initial Sparks.

Mana Leech and Health Leech

Upon the first upgrade, shields automatically gain two new attributes: Mana Leech and Health Leech. The chance and amount of leech increase with each subsequent upgrade.

Health and Mana Sparks

To further enhance your character's resilience, you can use special Sparks to increase your maximum health and mana. These Sparks can be stored in your shield and activated by right-clicking them and applying them to the shield.
